Vizier
Operational intelligence for healthcare — patient flow, resource allocation, outcome prediction — with every data pipeline compliant by default.

Healthcare operations generate enormous amounts of data that most systems can't make actionable in real time. Vizier gives our healthcare engineering teams the analytics layer to build operational intelligence into healthcare systems — patient flow, resource allocation, outcome tracking — with every data pipeline compliant by default.
Vizier is the HIPAA-compliant analytics pipeline layer that our healthcare engineering teams deploy when operational intelligence is a project requirement. The core engineering problem in healthcare analytics is that the data required to produce useful operational insights — patient identifiers, encounter records, clinical observations, scheduling data, billing records — is also the data most heavily regulated under HIPAA. Building analytics on top of that data without creating compliance exposure requires deliberate architectural decisions at every layer: consent management, de-identification pipelines where PHI must not appear in analytical outputs, role-based access controls that govern what each query can touch, and audit logging that captures every data access event. Vizier encodes all of these requirements as infrastructure rather than application logic. The consent management layer tracks patient authorization for data use in analytics contexts and enforces those authorizations at the query level — a query that would surface data from a patient who has not consented to analytics use does not execute. De-identification pipelines produce HIPAA Safe Harbor and Expert Determination compliant datasets for use cases where PHI must be absent. Real-time operational intelligence — ED capacity, OR utilization, patient throughput, staffing ratios — is delivered from compliant data pipelines, not from an analytics layer that bypassed the compliance infrastructure to achieve latency targets.

Start a ConversationThe Business Case
Healthcare organizations that build analytics capabilities without the compliance infrastructure do so either unknowingly — creating exposure that a future audit will surface — or knowingly, by limiting their analytics to de-identified datasets that exclude the data that would make the intelligence operationally useful. Neither outcome is acceptable. Vizier eliminates the tradeoff. Clients can run real-time operational analytics on the full richness of their operational data without creating HIPAA exposure, because the compliance layer is part of the pipeline architecture, not a constraint imposed on it. The alternative — building the analytics capability first and adding compliance infrastructure retroactively — typically costs 40–80% of the original analytics build cost and introduces a remediation timeline that delays the operational benefit by 6–18 months.
How It Works in an Engagement
When our teams build healthcare analytics systems, Vizier provides the intelligence framework. It handles the complexity of healthcare data governance — HIPAA-compliant data pipelines, consent management, de-identification where required. The analytics layer works because the compliance layer works. Our clients get operational intelligence without creating compliance exposure.
